    1. Tena koutou, Hesioni, thanks for your feedback. I am so glad that you enjoyed our maths task. I agree with you, that this activity was the most engaging for the whole class. When you enjoy the task it makes teaching so much easier. We covered so many skills in one activity. We will do more maths like this Hesi!

    2. Hi Hesioni. I hope you and your family are all ok during this lockdown. It sounded like fun going pretend shopping online with $100. What sort of things did you buy with your money. Are you able to screen shop the things you bought and post the picture on your blog? Maybe you could do another one since you liked it so much. Hope to see you soon.

    3. Kia Ora Hesioni. Love the concept of the pretend shopping and most of all the currency example in the picture to work from. I agree with Bronca, it would be interesting to see what your shopping list was and how you have done it without real moolah. Can't wait for the feedback.

Well done on completing the tasks and especially on how you did it. When Lock-down is lifted you can spend real "tjing" based on your exercise you have gained in this learning topic. Be sure to show us some of your amazing work please.

    2. Hi Ceezyn. How are you? This looked like a really fun task to do. What sort of things did you find that you added to your list. I would have tried a shopping list at the supermarket and seen how many items I could buy for $100. Or I would shop for clothes and included a bar of chocolate. I hope you get to do another shop. See you at school soon.

It's always nice when your learning is clear to understand as this makes things easier to do too. Please post some pictures of your shopping list.
      See you soon.

  5. Hi Ellen! My name is Teegan. I like how you gave us 100$ to spend on multiple things to buy. Using division by 4 is quite difficult, but it was really easy since we had permission to use the calculator. I also liked how you specifically explained the task that you were working on, excellent effort! Kind regards, Teegan.

    2. Hi Teegan. I am glad you enjoyed this shopping task. What things did you buy? Maybe next time you can post a picture of the things that you bought with the $100. Dividing into quarters can be hard but the more you do it by practising, the easier it will become. One day you will say, 'That wasn't hard at all'. I like calculators too. Hope you and your family are ok.

You sound like you are pretty good at what you do with your assigned tasks. Perhaps I should get some tips from you whenever I make a shopping list as you must be a great saver on money. Glad to see you liked the task! Keep up the good work!

I liked how you gave us $100 to spend on items on websites,
It was so fustrading until you told us to use caculators so we can divide the fractions on the orginal prices while online shopping,
I started understanding when we were using the Caculators,
So I hope you keep up the excellent work!
Ka kite! Have a good day!

It's great to see the practice being put into motion and at the same time this will help when you do the actual shop after lock-down is lifted. Keep up the good work and keep practicing.
