This term students have been completing tasks learning about financial literacy in groups and individually. Students have a budget of $100 and they are to shop online at certain stores. Through the shopping task students are learning how to work collaboratively, learn about fractions, decimals, rounding decimals, how to calculate percentages, and understanding division, all in a real-world context.  Check out student posts.
